Carmela + Jake at The Wilds
Right off the bat I want to share these photos on medium format film that I made with this sweet couple after their ceremony before they headed off to their party. I am loving all the life and color the new Gold 200 brings to portraits :,)
Jake got ready over at the Shower’s Inn in downtown Bloomington, while Carmela got ready at their venue, The Wilds.
Their lovely ceremony was at St. Charles Catholic Church on the east side of town. I’d never been in this church before, and I loved the stained glass windows and grandness of it. Both Carmela and Jake have very sweet families and it was so nice to see everyone feeling good and celebrating!
Their reception over at The Wilds was full of laughter, good food, and joy. It’s easy to see why this is such a popular venue here in southern, Indiana. The white walls, and big windows make for beautiful photos with plenty of room for dancing. Not far from town, but far enough to feel like you’re in the middle of a beautiful Midwest field.
The light rain during their portraits shows up just the right amount.
