Alex + Francesca

My friend Fran and her girlfriend, Alex, moved in down the street last summer and in October I finally made the long trip down the block to make some film portraits of them on their porch!

They are really just the sweetest couple, and I was so happy with these photos. I love making portraits on people’s porches. It feels easy and comfortable, I think. And, as always, being a lesbian photographer and photographing gay couples in southern Indiana feels like home to me.
