Milwaukee, Fall 2022

Two of my darling friends, Brick and Jason, moved up north to Milwaukee this past summer and I finally made the trip up to visit them. I spent some time walking around and admiring the beautiful golden light, the big old houses, and appreciating being out of town for a moment. It’s such a joy to travel and make photographs!

I’ve spent some time in Milwaukee over the years, playing punk shows and eating at the Riverwest Co-Op. Mostly in my early 20’s, so it was such a pleasure to get to spend a few days here again and I look forward to coming back regularly to visit my friends and get to know the city.

I cannot more highly suggest the Milwaukee Art Museum! Such a beautiful spot, and I was thrilled to get to see a series of photographs by one of my favorite photographers, Rineke Dijkstra!
