Ardent Instruments
These photos are from March 2019, but I wanted to share them here, because I still find them so charming!
I’ve known Nick for many years now, and I am so impressed by Ardent Instruments! He repairs guitars, builds them, and sells odds and ends like strings and straps. It is a skillset that is far beyond my understanding, but I am honored to know someone so talented at it.
I don’t really like the sound of “commercial photography”, but I love it in context of documenting work. I really appreciate being able to photograph someone when they’re doing work with their hands like this. Repairing, making, designing, etc. Work spaces feel so intimate and personal and it always feels inspiring to visit someone elses.
